In this paper, we present a cochlea model whose nonlinear dynamics are described by an asynchronous cellular automaton. Our proposed is demonstrated to enable the reproduction of two-tone distortion products. The implemented on field-programmable gate array (FPGA). It subsequently that our can be using fewer hardware resources than conventional model, which Hopf-type digital signal processor performing numerical integration.
